Office Look: Round Prescription Glasses

Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to wear prescription glasses all day every day. But I do. I choose not to though, only when I wanna literally be blindly oblivious of some obvious shite that’s going on. The rest of the cases I’m 100% blind as a bat sans my glasses or my contacts. So, happy or not, I’m (forced) to embrace the glasses frames trends happening every year. Nevertheless I gotta say… with time I’m loving my have-to-wear-glasses-situation and I’m a huge fan of classic glasses frames.

However 2017 has been the year of big round metal framed prescription glasses. Geek chic to another level I swear. And, being such a sucker for easy trends I was on board, convinced I gotta have them and wear them, no matter what. Of course regardless of my face shape, and other such details that I thought were too trivial for me, I received them and did wear them, and I liked them. (it was all documented on Insta story at some point)

I love love love round big golden frame glasses, so let’s get that straight, and out of the wait. I adore them, and I really like the retro cool effortless vibe they have. So, when I was gifted by GlassesShop with a pair… man, it was full-on happiness.

The thing about glasses online is that you can’t try them on, however the best part part is if you find a shop you love and trust it’s a great bargain of price and quality. Such was my case with my round glasses frames.

They’re super light, so those marks around your nose… yeah, those don’t happen. They look retro chic and if you love golden jewellery they will steal your heart, as they did with me.

The prescription always arrives perfectly fit, the wrapping is basic but cute, and the shipping was extremely fast.

If you want something light, barely there but statement nonetheless go for this glasses frames trend. If you’re more of a classic and conservative stick to your own styles.

I’m always inconsistent and there are days when I love to wear them with red lips and sweatpants, cause they have this retro careless vibe to them that’s a great style clash,  and other days like the one I took these pics, is when I throw them on on whatever office outfit I’m wearing.

Pretty versatile and fun in a very cool geek sort of way. Moral of the style story here: if you love a trend, or a look and wanna try it on, take the damn risk.
