It’s crazy how even your fashion life changes once you have a baby and how my once fave fashion pieces have taken a second seat in favour of cozy knitwear for example, comfy shoes, dresses that I just throw on, big scarves (which I used to hate) and are now my go-to on-the-go coverup which also serves as a blanket for Siena in case she needs it. You know stuff like that… So yes I’m so into knitwear this season but who in the right mind isn’t. And I’m also loving the co-ords trend that’s still going strong out there, and the lounge sets that are a life saviour when you practically stay home all day but don’t wanna be a total slob, and in case you need to run out the door to… you know… talk to humans and get in touch with the world out there, you can do that in a cute longe set without having to change 23,999 outfits a second.
That’s how I put my advice into practice about 2 weeks ago when hubby, Siena and I went on an excursion to the country, and on the way we spotted this really cute forest that was an autumn wonder and decided to stop and take a few pics because #bloggerlife (subtly rolls eyes). I wore this cozy knitwear set in one of my fave colours for this season – a mustard like yellow – and my pair of chunky sneakers, a vintage leather bag, hair-scrunchie because #momhair is actually a thing, this pair of Tom Ford classic shades, and of course red lips.
You guys, whenever I feel like a slob, or I have an ugly day I swear red lips are my go-to style gimmick. This simple trick can lift up more than just an ordinary casual outfit. It lifts up my spirit and puts me in the right mindset. Hallelujah. And it looks amazing in photos, so thank God for that.
Enjoy the pics and have a great sunday y’all. Scroll down to shop the look.
