VICTORIA’S SECRET SHOW 2013! What’s The Secret Behind Perfect Bodies & Hotness?
Once a year, right before the winter holidays we get a dose of jealousy & sighing, courtesy of Victoria’s Secret Show! All topped with the promise of changing our lifestyles in an undying hope to look as fabulous as the hottest angles and models on earth, a delusion that ends right before the show’s over but lingers on as we gift ourselves with the sexiest lingerie out there. Hence prolonging the same hope. 2013 Victoria’s Secret Show had 6 themes all filled with glitter, feathers, spectacular lingerie and whatnot – The British Invasion, Birds Of Paradise, Pink Network, Parisian Nights, Shipwrecked, Snow Angles and the show was opened by none other than the stunning Candice Swanepoel in the most beautiful, most expensive bra. While all models looked beyond humanly perfect my favorites have always been and will always be: Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. They make it all look so easy, effortless and sexy. Yet, as all models have confessed the close-to-perfection bodies they have, may be a thing of great genes & fast metabolism, but above all, it’s massive hard work, that as Candice says, given it’s their job, turned into their lifestyle. On her Instagram account she posted a few holiday pics of her showing a skinny body, no boobs and a bit of cellulite on her bum!!! What? The caption said: remember nobody’s perfect. So many women and girls thanked her for that. Those abs, fab legs and perfect bums are the result of hard work, but when there’s a show such as Victoria’s Secret it’s also a tone of makeup, great lightning and marketing.
Truth is VS is about this dream world where everyone is beautiful, sexy, confident, happy in the most opulent luxurious and seductive atmosphere ever. Best models, best bodies, luscious hair, infinite legs, perfect bums, great music, la creme de la creme of the entertainment world – it’s an insight into a magical universe that makes everyone feel prettier. Every year the show is packed with the finest pieces and the most exquisite wings making the girls appear like perfect goddesses as they strut their hotness on powerful music, throwing kisses at us. For us it’s pure entertainment whether from the comfort of our homes or from there, if we’re lucky enough to score a ticket. But for the models it’s a continuous and harsh battle of making the shortlist. These perfect angles, are not just models, they’re girls with attitude and great bodies. Skinny, but healthy looking, exuding beauty, classic sexiness, and seduction. Then it’s the music. Bands and artists are always hoping to make it as the headliners for this show. The music is always strong, in tune with what’s happening out there and empowering. Loved Rihanna & Maroon 5 in the past. Can’t say the same thing about Taylor Swift. But that’s just pure personal dislike in her for no actual reason. Wasn’t too sold on Cara Delevingne & Karlie Kloss as model choices for the show. I love them, they’re amazing models and girls, but I think they’re a bit too edgy/editorial for VS. Just cause when you think Victoria Secret you think about that classic mysterious incredibly sexy beauty a woman has. Until December 10th, when the show airs, we’ll just have to do with a few pics, and videos from 2013 VS Show and call it like it is: one of the biggest & hottest lingerie and fashion events out there. Let’s have a look at what it was like this year: What’s the SECRET?
On what makes a woman sexy, hot and incredibly seductive in the most natural way possible, all models agreed: CONFIDENCE. ;)
