There’s always that one thing us girls refuse to let go regardless of season and the street styles & celebs fashion have spoken. It’s the sneakers ladies! The comfy chic Tom boy-ish shoes were our fashion crush all throughout 2012 Spring & Summer and somehow we can’t part with these uber cool, urban yet quite feminine style staples. I know just last season FashionTag peeked into this trend (click here to read), but still it’s impossible not to notice how stubborn this style is, and since some of the girls have asked me to do a post on how to wear sneakers in winter… here // READ MORE…

When you start adding up all the trends one season has to offer, you actually wonder if we’re ever gonna come through with something new? We all know fashion is cyclical… yet I confess I am longing for some new fashion movements, ideas and controversy in style that sweeps me off my feat and has us all stare in shock and wonder at some new unseen-before fashion & styles. Until then we’ll always have the comfortable safe past to look into and take inspiration from. Such is the case of the bohemian 1970’s Bell Bottom Jeans. Again (without intention I tell you) I have discovered yet another fashion craze // READ MORE…

Once the cold season is settled in there’s a fashion invasion of… shorts! Yes you read that right. Us girls are hopelessly in love with one of the most common, urban, trendy, cool and comfy looks – Cutoffs & Black Tights! London is obsessed with this trend and it’s a matter of time until most European cities are packed with rebel looking girls that refuse to ditch their summer attire, because instead found an uber chic way of rocking denim shorts in blizzard cold. Cutoffs & tights are the fashion must have of 2013 winter.  How & where to wear the rock/punk look is but // READ MORE…

Best thing about the cold weather, if any? It’s got to be the clothes & styles we can play around with, and the most important staple for winter is The Coat. For 2013 cold season the coat styles and looks are all about one thing: no rules! I love that. From fur to leather, from bright reds to darks or neutrals, from simple to eccentric, from oversized to slim cut, long to short, clean or patterned – the coat styles are wild and free in 2013 winter. With one thing in mind there’s nothing in our way to looking fabulous while staying warm and comfy // READ MORE…

“If you’re going to San Francisco / Make sure to wear some flowers in your head” – well… this season you can go anywhere and wear anything in your head.  The bejeweled heads are taking over everywhere, from Fashion Weeks to parties, to school, to dates or even work. Whether it’s too much or just fun you gotta give this trend what it deserves: it looks fabulous! OK so it may be too over the top for some of us, at least to don in bright daylight (I’d probably feel as if everyone was staring and laughing their butts off) but headpieces come in tens of styles and // READ MORE…

Sweaters, jumpers & cardigans are my new fashion crush for 2013 Winter, in as many designs, styles and colors as possible to suit every occasion and mood. The knitwear used to be a great hit back in the day, and lost a bit to silks & jerseys for a couple of years, but this season the cozy tops in warm fabrics are here to stay. And what better trend to have in winter than a wool chunky sweater styled fabulously with belts, skirts, jeans, trousers, shorts, or layered with jackets, coats and scarves? It’s finally a heaven of stylish coziness. High street brands like Topshop, H&M, River Island, Forever 21 // READ MORE…

Have we all gone mad with the Fifty Shades Of Grey bestseller? Or do designers long for those grunge looks of the past? Whatever the case one thing is certain. In 2012-2013 Autumn & Winter we are all plunging into a Gothic glamour and elegance and giving in to obsessive looks of Bad Girls. Collections from the most classic designers took this S&M road, with leather trousers, jackets, straps, belts, gloves. But to make it more actual and fun we’re not just sticking to the all time black. No ladies, it’s colored leather all the way, from the deepest to the most electric tones of red, orange, calm nudes, greens or purples. If you fancy // READ MORE…

Ice cutting wind that makes Russian aristocratic ladies’ cheeks blush with color under luxurious furs that, alongside pearl necklaces and earrings adorn these far-in-times tormented beauties of the 19th century – is the picture my mind travels to, with this season’s fashion trend. A crowded 1870’s Moscow or St. Peterspurg railway station with trains that seem more like chariots under the blistering cold, with aristocratic ladies that make their way through journeys in heavy expensive clothes… it’s Russia at its best. Romantic Russian Imperialism with its fine fashion & style. When Temperley London presented her 2012/2013 Fall-Winter collection, she gave a away on a lot of what we shall indulge in // READ MORE…

With all the trends swirling around us like crazy there seems to be a general movement that makes it all happen. Style Clashing is the big thing now that embodies it all: from prints to chunky jewellery to lace, to evening skirts and heavy boots. If the ’80s were all about broad shoulders, bad make-up and big hair and the ’90s about grunge, the 2000s are about clashing styles. Wear your snickers with a feminine fancy dress, or your boots with an evening gown. Wear delicate pieces with heavy metal chunky jewellery. In this new fashion revolution the Army Jacket takes a comfortable position and announces its huge comeback // READ MORE…

Prada 2012 - Vintage Pleated Skirt

Ladies 2012 is the year of  The Pleated Skirts! Short, maxi, tea length, nude, colored, printed – with flats, boots or heels they make any woman look feminine & chic. Oh… and a bit retro. And we love it! Last autumn the designers’ collections had their share of pleats, and I thought what a cool trend for the cold days. Feminine and sexy in the middle of the cold blizzard. But the pleats were such a huge hit that the trend stuck with us throughout the four seasons and here we are in 2012 Summer still choosing the maxi or short pleated skirt for those hot days // READ MORE…
