Stilettos OR Block Heels? What's Your Heel Style?

If, like myself, you’re more of the indecisive fashion type, then this post is not for you, as it’ll only make things worse. Shoes… we ALL love. All of us and all of them, regardless of style. But to pick one over the other, when your main sartorial & mental condition scream ambivalent is cruel.

Plain and simple.

Having a penchant for stressful situations, and left with a pending question after eavesdropping on a stilettos versus chunky heels convo – here I am, adding more insult to injury and taking victims down with me as I go.

Ladies and gents I bring you the HEELS DEBATE: STILETTOS Vs BLOCK HEELS!

Which one’s your style? Are you a stiletto girl, or are you more of a now-70s-inspired-boho-queen? Oh… the agony. The perfect ecstasy of not knowing which ones to pick, right? Yes actually. Nothing will ever beat our fashion indecisiveness and the perks that come with it: buying it all.

So basically I think there are 2 types of girls: 1) those who LOVE a certain type of heel be it stiletto or block, and although they’re wearing both, they know damn well which one’s their true love. (applause for them!!!)

And 2) Those who love them both equally, or none of them that much for that matter. It’s all mood-based for us (yes I live in this category), on how we feel when we wake up: stilettos or block kinda day.

STILETTOS.

Say what you want but stilettos will ALWAYS be the hottest shoes in the whole world. They’re the Beyonce of all shoes.

Stilettos, be it boots, sandals, or pumps can literally make any outfit look incredibly stylish, sexy, gorgeous as if you put so much effort into your look, when actually all you have on is a pair of jeans and some plain tee.

And don’t even get me started on thigh-high-stiletto-boots. Oh. My. God. Or stiletto sandals in winter. sigh.

BLOCK HEELS.

They’re on a roll for quite some time now courtesy of both the 70s comeback and the ankle boots trend. From high block heels to low square ones, if they’re slightly (or not so slightly) chunky they’re IN.

Truth is a block heel boot is so sophisticated and trendy in a very retro cool kinda way it’s impossible to resist. And they are the definition of comfort. And style.

Plus they look great with just about anything, from skirts to skinny jeans to dresses and what not. Except loose, wide legged trousers. Those I don’t like with chunky shoes and thick heels, cause I prefer them more with stilettos.
