Make-up Looks & Styles

Being a city girl who also happens to work in fashion I dare say I am quite into all that is appealing to the eye. Style. Trends. Different attitudes. I love to keep my eyes open for any and all tiny details that make a look or a style stand out, be it a simple ring,  a haircut or Make up. Less of all a make up guru, I do love to let my eyes wonder at the different make up styles out there and I just love to see people get creative while staying true to themselves. Make up is about expressing a mood and a style. It’s art in a very fashion forward genuine way. 

Good make up products and a thorough analysing of the features are the 1st key elements of a good make up. Then of course it is the moisturising and then the most important (in my opinion) the foundation. The more the skin is evened out and contoured the more any make up applied to the eyes or lips will look stunning.

I simply adore the Natural Looks: big eyes, high cheekbones, full lips. With the emphasis on the skin’s glowing! And a touch of bronzing effect! Being an addict of the eyeliner and mascara, I love the Cat-eye Looks: everyday looks, retro looks, evening looks. Nude lips and perfect complexion can make this look perfect to wear from morning into the night, to any glamorous event just by adding a touch of colored lipstick.And then it’s the Strong Lips Look. Bright lips! Red, purple, pink, black, brown. Since the ’90s grunge style is pretty much back I have spotted a lot of women rocking the dark lips trend again. It’s quite lusty and vampire looking. As long as the face is pale & evened out it’s a look to rock  at any given time of the day or night.
