#GuideToCool We’ve all got staples we love, and #ootd we obsess about, but I strongly believe that the T-shirt is the sartorial star behind a lot of our fashion daily choices. And when that choice is backed up by a special kinda message we wanna convey to the world, well… it don’t get no better. The title of this style-post is not random. Well, few things about me are. Actually no, not really. Anyway, there is a perfectly tailored meaning to the above. The T-shirts I’m wearing are designed by a Madrid fashion brand – Individually Connected – around the very idea of CONNECTIONS and // READ MORE…

Crazy times my friends. Juggling life, and work, and a bit of play in the the midst of fashion week. It don’t get anymore chaotic than this. I call it the headless chicken dance, I being the little chicken sans the head, and the dance being my daily life these days. It’s all good though, I’ve had some pretty good selfies over the weekend, worked out, ate bad but felt good about myself, even had a brief good hair moment there for about 30 minutes. Ya’ know. #s’allgood Remember when this summer I bombarded you guys with some posts from Sziget Festival? Yeah, this post // READ MORE…

If you’re a fan of the latest cult film – Suicide Squad – this post is for you. If you’re also constantly torn between 2 jackets (colours) this too is a post you will love, cause like nothing else out there the jacket I’m wearing today caters to two loves. In this case wearing both a red and a blue jacket. Perfection. It was only after this Sunday when I wore my new Suicide Squad jacket from Celebsclothing that I actually realised I kinda love blue. First time ever in my life I’ve had a blue crush. With autumn almost here it’s as clear as // READ MORE…

For a person who’s cup of tea is not made up of too psychedelic things and closed spaces and weird lights and surreal surroundings in that very claustrophobic way – that day we spent at the Luminarium at Sziget Festival was not too bad. In fact, what had started as a long line of people, followed by a first feeling of claustrophobia (hello maze + coloured lights that can mess with your mind and vision if you’re prone to closed spaces) ended up being a very interesting (for lack of better word) experience. Could have had something to do with us turning it all into // READ MORE…

While it lasted it was fun yet incredibly overwhelming, music, fashion, all-around-vibes wise. Now that it’s gone… I kinda miss it. That’s the thing you see about music festivals – they creep and crawl under your skin, until you realise you’re actually a rascal with a penchant for comfort. And if you love the music, the fashion, and the beautiful people, you’re doomed to enjoy the festival, to get slightly overwhelmed by the crowd, and miss the chaos of it all once it’s over. Testimony of it all are the tons of photos we took, the blisters on my feet, the flu I’m still fighting // READ MORE…

Once upon a time (aka about 3 weeks ago) I wore all white (rare case scenario) and stumbled upon some turquoise background in the middle of the city (rare situation as well.) Unfortunately it wasn’t the ocean, but when life gives you lemons you fucking make lemonade. Or mojitos. On that day I had my face on, my empowering lips (dark seems to be my go-to colour when all else fails) AND my dainty necklaces from Starharvest Jewellery.  Although my look is rather strong with a dash of 90s reminiscence as my photographer likes to say, I thought the dainty pieces make a fab contrast. // READ MORE…

There are gold people and then there are silver people. I am certainly the former, but every now and then I’ll take a dip into the silver team and actually truly enjoy it. Such was the situation a month ago when I decided to drape myself in blue (again not a very seldom drive in my case) and wear the silver pearl set I got from Star Harvest Jewellery.  They’ve been so kind to gift me this silver set and 2 more golden pieces that I’ll show you in a future blogpost, that I feel incredibly blessed. Their brand is solely focused on quality jewellery // READ MORE…

They said 2016 is all about oversized jackets and new sartorial crushes, aka ‘can we please try a little harder than the already too-worn leather jacket?! Thank you.’ My prayers were answered – a jacket that has it all, but it’s not leather – has arrived. Actually it’s got superpowers, and tons of swag, and versatility, and I can sometimes wear it to the gym, and sometimes to work, and sometimes for meetings when I pair it with uber posh outfits. It’s sporty and casual, with a retro-college reminiscence that gives it incredible sophistication when I pair it with smarter outfits. My Captain America Varsity Jacket // READ MORE…

There are dresses, and then there are DRESSES. When it comes to CECILY dresses – my favourite dresses brand for office & events – that’s how I cut a long story short. And trust me this is coming from a woman whose eyes wander more often than not over to edgier and sometimes more extravagant pieces. But, if my age and sartorial adventures have taught me anything it’s that sometimes classic and luxurious are winning tickets. You can never, in a million years beat a classic cut dress, perfect for office or even some more formal events. Sure, you can give it a slight edge and twist // READ MORE…

That I’m as quick tempered as a storm, and fiery as fire can get is no surprise, so there is really no wow factor to the fact that I feel at my mostest when draped in red. Yeah, yeah I know, what a cliche. But when I’m wearing red and a gorgeous dress like the one in this post I’m again walking as if Beyonce and I are singing “I’m a grown woman, I can do whatever I want.” Damn right. And we strut. We don’t walk. I’ve been dying to wear this dress for a long time and let me just say that the // READ MORE…
