Summer Nails

2014 summer nails Summer NailsI always thought it’s the details that make all the difference, and I still hold on to this as much as I can. With a tad exaggeration nonetheless, cause you know me, can’t say no to massive bling, funky bags, pops of red or pink bright lips and fabulous nails. Sigh.

And it’s because of these bold details that our efforts for a certain outfit can be reduced to a minimum. Basic anything is in right now, so why not splurge on itsy bitsy things that catch the eyes of fashion and style savvys and give you a dose of confidence, if that outfit is too plain. So I thought why not talk NAILS today, and the immense power they have to give a certain twist to any look: chic, sophisticated, smart, feminine, edgy, funky you name it – depending on the nail art you’re going for. nail art 2014 animal print nails Summer NailsBeware though, this post is not for the faint hearted people, but for those who love experimenting and having fun with the fashion of the nails. I’m sure there isn’t such a thing but anyway. Those who love bold stiletto nails would argue. long nails trend Summer NailsIs there such a thing as nails trend? And if so, who decides it? And more so, what’s IN this spring/summer?

I’ve noticed alongside the short bright nails, and those styles that are really art on a few inches surface, that long nails are still a massive hit, in oval shape and square as well, according to Rihanna, who, if you ask me is the quite the nail-trend-setter.

But do we like them? neon long square nails style Summer NailsShort or long, square, stiletto or oval, one thing is sure: 2014 spring/summer is all about bright fun nails, from baby blues and pastels, to bright pinks, neon anything, yellows, greens, matte whites, prints and patterns. It’s one big party at your fingertips. Add a few knuckle rings and who the hell needs to worry about what they’re wearing. Your nails alone will give away your sartorial addiction, and make you look put together and trendy even if you’re not actually. red square nails style Summer NailsAs a person who loves to experiment with nail colors and shapes I’m all up for funkying it up. Whenever I’ve got long nails, in various colors (that I usually change almost every 2 weeks) I feel sophisticated, put together, stylish and more confident. Great nails betray a certain high maintenance true that, but also give you more freedom to not give a shit what you’re wearing one day, and get away with a more MEH look. Cause let’s face it, we all have those days, where jeans and a plain tee is like the best thing ever, but the moment you step out of the house, everyone’s in a dress and stilettos and you feel like the stupid awkward new kid in school. Not with great nails. I tell you. They’re definitely my style gimmick. neon nails Summer Nailswhite matte nails trend Summer Nailssummer nails Summer NailsBut enough with the talk, let’s just have a look and get nail inspired. icon smile Summer Nails 2014 nail trends Summer Nailsblue nails Summer Nailsbright nails Summer Nailsbright nails summer trend Summer Nailsbright nails trend Summer Nailsfunky nails Summer Nailsnailart 2014 trend Summer Nailsnail polosh trend Summer Nailsnail art 2014 2 Summer Nailsnail art 2014 Summer Nailsnails pink diamonds Summer Nailsnails trends 2014 Summer Nailsnail trend matte white Summer Nailsnail trend white matte Summer Nailsrita ora bright neon nails Summer Nailsshort square nails style Summer Nailssquare bright nails Summer Nailswhite matte nails Summer Nailssummer nails1 Summer NailsSo my lovelies, I’m curious how do you like your nails?

To be honest, on my (always natural) nails I don’t follow trends or match with my outfits – my nails tend to be a completely separate, fun piece – nail art is so much joy!
